Welcome New Year 9s

We are so excited to meet you this week as you join us to meet your tutor for some fun activities, and experience life at Ferndown Upper School.

Some of our teachers have created videos to help explain how it’s going to work when you are visiting for the afternoon.

Starting with Mr. Collins, Head of Year 9, work your way down through these videos and meet Mr. Jones, Headteacher, Mrs. Taylor and Mr. Evans, our Deputy Headteachers.

Under the videos there is more information, including our letters sent home and contact details, should you have any questions.

The Bone Sparrow

Before starting with us in September, we’d like you to read the book “The Bone Sparrow” that you will be given on your welcome afternoons. Once you have read the book, you can complete this Sway page and answer the questions/complete the tasks. The Sway page can be found here.
