We understand that National Offer Day can be an emotional time for many families. While we are delighted to welcome the students who have been offered places, we are also very aware that many families who had hoped to join our school – including some in catchment or with siblings already here – may feel disappointed.
This year, as in the previous five years, we received significantly more applications than places available. Although we are proud that so many families wish to be part of our school community, we understand how difficult this news can be.
All decisions are made in line with our published admissions criteria and through the Local Authority process. Families who were not offered a place will receive a letter from the Local Authority explaining next steps, including information about waiting lists and how to appeal if you wish to do so.
