Local school girl Ellie Sheppard-Allen aged 14 has beaten hundreds of children across the UK to take part in the new TV series of Got What it Takes on CBBC .
The show starts this Tuesday 7 February at 4.45pm on CBBC. In this unique music series, 8 of the UK’s most talented young singers have been chosen to enrol at a music industry boot camp. Here they will face a series of challenges and learn about the reality of a pop stars life behind the glitz and glamour from people who work in the industry.
However, there is a twist, along the way they will be judged by their very own mothers and one of them will be chosen for a prize that money cannot buy!
The groundbreaking series is the only talent show to reveal the true side of fame whilst helping you get there.
Episode 8 scheduled for 28 March, shows the children in a London recording studio singing their own versions of hit songs. The public then have 24 hours to vote for their favourite child to go through to the final of the competition. Only 3 children will go through from the 8. The prize this year is amazing and the overall winner of the show will perform live in conjunction with Radio 1 in front of thousands of people.
Can you please help support this talented young girl to achieve her dream, by having her on your radio station to get the local area behind her?
Ellie has a great interview technique and won one of the industry challenges involving Radio One and Nick Grimshaw. She would be happy to be interviewed and sing live on air if required.
