Uniform

Uniform Letter

A smart clean and conventional appearance adds greatly to the impression given by students of themselves and the school, and we seek to encourage the students to take pride in their appearance. The wearing of uniform is compulsory and students entering the school are asked to dress in accordance with the guidelines laid down below. These have been agreed after full consultation with students, parents, staff and the School Governors and are considered to be smart, reasonable and appropriate for school life. Students who deliberately seek to be dressed in clothes which are considered to be inappropriate, or whose hairstyle and colour is considered to be provocative or extreme will be sent home or excluded from lessons to work on their own. The school requests the full support of parents in order for students to maintain the highest standards of personal appearance.
