Young Achiever Winner: Grace Hill, member of the House and School Councils at Ferndown Upper School and an elected National Youth Parliament Member.

Grace commented: ‘‘I had a lovely evening and am very flattered to receive this award. I was not expecting it at all and could not have achieved this without the support of my family, friends and school.

Well done Grace, we are all very proud of you.

Students Help the JTYAF to Raise £3,600,

praise from Linda and Pete of the JTYAF, “we just wanted to thank Grace, Abi, Payge, Jazz, Archie, Ollie, Sam, Scott, Abi and Eve for giving up their time to come and help us on Friday.  It was great to have such a wonderful team of young people from FUS and we can’t tell you how much we appreciated their support.  They were an absolute credit to their school and without doubt helped to increase the donations at the tills and therefore the total funds raised.”

Well done to all of the students involved and to Mrs Bird for organising them, it is lovely to see students who want to help out their local community.

GCSE Options Subjects Increase Again

We are finalising our Y10 GCSE options at the moment and the good news is that we have re-introduced GCSE French and Media, so we are now offering 19 different GCSE subjects for our students to study.

Fidget Spinners

These will only be allowed to be used in school by students who have been issued with a card so please do not allow your children to bring them in.

Basketball Result

Well done to the U16s Basketball team who came 3rd overall in the PEDSSA league, beating Swanage School 76-26.
