Ferndown Upper School Students Taste National Success
Ferndown Upper School students came 2nd in a recent national creative writing contest, in which there were 43,000 entrants from over 1200 secondary schools.
Ferndown Upper school students have been awarded £500 for winning second place in the recent national creative writing competition for schools.
It was a hotly contested competition with a third of all secondary entering.

‘He could hear the irritating drone of insects, feel the humid atmosphere weighing him down, smell fear, taste the sticky sweet scent of the jungle. He could see nothing. The thoughts of his missing friend raced through his mind.’
